This show grabbed me right away because the story was told from a unique angle I have not seen as a audience member at Fringe 2026. I loved how Xochi expresses her frustration with the powers that be through timely and creative lyrics. That it ultimately makes art, our good and bad life experiences. “HOLLYWOOD CHOLA” was the therapy session I needed. A sold out OPENING! CONGRATS!!! Yelyna brings us into her world so effortlessly! The music sounded like old school rap, I was OBSESSED. The show really gets you to feel every emotion on the spectrum. Joy. Excitement. Laughter. Sadness. I felt like I left a wonderful therapy session. It was so cathartic.
