Joshua Chamberlain’s labor of love sings from every line of his script and under his astute direction, Bryan McKinley and Leif Gantvoort could not have been more true to character had they been possessed by the comics legends themselves. The supporting cast is strong, engaged, and each gets a couple spotlight moments that they make the most of. Just outstanding!
What I didn't like
You’re kidding, right?
My overall impression
A riveting, funny, and well-researched look at Lee & Kirby’s relationship. Just an incredible show, and a labor of genuine love and respect for everyone’s part in the story. Fast-paced and vibrant, the show takes its cues (and its punches) from actual text and reference, heightening the gravitas of every on-stage conversation.
