What I liked

I liked the minimalist production value of her performance. With only a few slides, a mic stand, and a few blocks, nothing onstage distracted from her performance. She let the story speak for itself. Also I loved her seamless mix of stand-up comedy and acting.

What I didn't like

No notes. Alice did a fantastic job and everyone should see this show.

My overall impression

Loved this show. Alice’s skillful mix of humor with heartache brought a poignancy to her story that could be appreciated by anyone who’s suffered a major disappointment in life. Her vulnerability was real. And that alone makes her journey relatable…no matter who you are, or what you’ve been through.
