Amidst the sardonic, vaguely anti-human artistic wave that floats further and further from humanity, My Brother’s Room is a reminder that one of the core powers of art is what is elevated by empathy and compassion. The script, already tight, is elevated by remarkably genuine performances. At the end, you’ll be shocked at how invested you got in just 70 minutes. And it’s got a character you’ll just love to hate ... full review

Overall, “My Brother’s Room” is an entertaining show that explores both the positive and negative influence family can have on one another when communication and vulnerability are missing. While some of the performances and pacing could use more room to settle, the production has a lot of potential and offers a thoughtful look at the complicated dynamics between siblings and family.... full review

I was lucky enough to attend the preview of My Brother's Room. The acting was very impressive from the whole cast. The story had a nice slow burn feel and the drama was effective and captivating. I found myself leaning on the edge of the seat because I felt connected and emphasized with the character's plight. Highly recommend this play. ... full review

Wow. This was a show I happened to have time for on a whim, and it completely blew me away. The play follows an older brother returning home after years on the run; and that's really all you need to know going in. What unfolds is a deeply human story brought to life by a young company with an exceptional script and richly developed characters. It took me a few minutes to settle into the world of the play, but once I did, these characters absolutely won me over.... full review
