The characters!!! The actors were so dedicated and truly embodied their characters. You understand who everyone is right away and the world they live in. The character development was so strong, present, and clear and represented in all sorts of ways.
What I didn't like
One of my favorite aspects of theater is sound and I feel like there were moments that could’ve used a little bit of noise. Whether that’s music when all the characters are hanging out in the bedroom or cans rustling around. It could add to the idea that Bobby isn’t supposed to be there and put the audience on edge a little bit more. This was clearly done when we first see Duke but I’d like to see more!
My overall impression
The show was absolutely fantastic and packed with lots of heart and whimsy! It was very relatable and engaging the whole time and had all kinds of emotions. It was a pleasure to watch and made me want to go home and call my mom.
