Incredible show! I felt compelled to write this review because of how I impressed I was with this piece. I was completely captivated and invested in the story. Tremendous writing with the ability to be concise (at about 50 minutes) while providing such depth, creativity and pace, all wrapped in a brilliant concept. Wonderful job creating the environment with such simplicity. The actors very much brought these beings to life and I was honored to experience the journey. GO SEE STRANGE BEINGS...

This show is a truly stellar look at what it means to be human, and to address both who we are... and who we were. The sci-fi setting is carefully designed and intricately planned to a degree that makes the show fiercely believable and immersive, the character depth is stunning and heart-breaking, and Joshua Verges and Victoria Gluchowski's performances are positively magnetic and absorbing. Fringe is so short. Don't just see this show--see it twice....

Instantly one of my favorite shows of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe. The production design was great, the script was poignant and acting was outstanding.
Strange Beings understands what the best science fiction always has: the stars are just a backdrop. At its core, this is a story about two people — former partners, now each contentedly married — trapped together on a space ship with nowhere to hide from their history. The threat outside is real, but the more compelling tension is the one between them, unresolved and suddenly impossible to ignore....

As a fan of space and science fiction, I was thrilled. But as a writer? I was in awe!
Like all great Sci-fi it uses the fantastical elements of a far off future or galaxy far far away to tell a very human story about people here and now. In this case it’s a masterful examination of a failed relationship and the mistakes of the past with the mystery and intrigue of a first contact with aliens in deep space.
The highest compliment I can give is that felt like it could easily have been an episode of Star Trek (especially the 90s shows). Get Nicole in the writers room for Strange New Worlds!...

Not only is it one of the best Fringe shows I’ve seen, it’s one of the best new plays I’ve seen in a long long time. The writing and direction are superb, it was perfectly staged, and the actors nailed every moment. If you don’t see any other show this Fringe make sure you see this one!...

This sci-fi play was an imaginative, thrilling, and heartfelt journey from start to finish. Nicole's world building is impressive and completely accessible, even as it leans into the more scientific bits. This piece immediately sucks you in with outstanding performances that brought these complex characters to life. Everything felt authentic and intentional, making for a truly beautiful piece of theater. ...
