What I liked
I thought the music was delightful, and using it as a medium for communication across dimensions was such an effective choice!
What I didn't like
If lengthened, we might be able to better flesh out some of the characters and their motivations, and give the house’s victims a little more significance and connection to the audience, so that their losses are more impactful. But again, I’d love to see this at that length so we can really explore the history and other characters!
My overall impression
Carli Wright is delightful at the center of this spooky-coded musical tale that addresses communication, motivation, and manifestations of the love we need vs what we’re looking for. Would love to see her make this a full-length piece!
