What I liked
The cast is terrific as they commit to the physicality, humor, and the vulnerability of their various characters. The use of the screen for silhouettes made my jaw drop at times. It brings an infectious energy and sense of humor that’s hard to look away from.
What I didn't like
Possibly could be shortened by 15-20 minutes but that’s all.
My overall impression
Trickster is a much-needed shot in the arm for anyone looking for a “theatre” theatre show. A wonderful ensemble, spectacular staging, and very inventive tech make this a truly unique experience at Fringe.
