Took in the June 22 show and was able to grab the front row. What a treat to see the original Spolin players on stage and to watch them perform the games so expertly! From the ensemble games to the two and three person games, the audience was treated to top notch entertainment that was equal parts: funny, engrossing and pretty darn amazing. I liked the games that called on the players to make the audience "see" what was happening on stage. "Dubbing", "Sound Scape" and "Transformation" were great vehicles for this which, from what I understand, is one of the major tenets of Viola Spolin's work. In order to this, the player has to "see" the space and the objects they are working with and within in order for the audience to see them. Well... full review

There is nothing canned here. The energy is electric. Their work brings that rare feeling one gets when seeing a performance that is truly alive and on the edge. It's also nice to see them making each other laugh. A little bit of everything: acrobatics, musical challenges, wordplay and an extraordinary use of international languages.
