There are many types of theater – comedy, drama, farce, melodrama, immersive, surrealism, theater of the absurd… and then there’s Theater of Molly Sharpe.
F*CKING FAMOUS is raunchy, gross, bizarre, unhinged and unapologetically it’s own thing. And it’s brilliant. There’s nothing traditional about what she does in this show, it’s held in a wig shop on Hollywood Blvd and that’s not the only thing that sets it apart from the pack.
It’s hard to describe this show, but let’s say it’s a pitch-perfect satire of artistic ego: her character survives a band-incinerating car crash and responds not with grief, but with a renewed sense of destiny. She is Molly Sharpe. She is legend.
