My overall impression
As a fan of writer Peppur Chambers, this play had been high on my to-do list. Peppur has her finger on the pulse of the people, and has written a timeless romantic comedy that gives hope to all of us.
Due to the unprofessionalism of actress Nina Donato, who quit the show after Friday’s performance, Peppur was forced to step into the role of Mary, Jayne’s mom. Considering the limited time she had to prepare, Peppur did a superb job in the role. But the stars of the show were Dick and Jayne, who inspired me.
This is a great show and not to be missed.
