My overall impression
This show is a testament to the power of one person to portray a universal problem that offers a solution.
Kelley Williams was stirring in her portrayal of the lessons she has learned and the solution she has found to the difficult task of growing up as a black women in modern day America.
Her poetry is amazing, her dancing is sublime, and the feeling of accomplishment she delivers is a well needed lift to her audience.
