This was the perfect release from the serious fare of the prior day, and left my sides hurting from laughter.
I grew up in the south, and this play managed to capture every negative connotation and cliche associated with life in the South. But they made it so freaking funny so you overlook all the offensive topics and concentrate on the sex and beer loving, trailer park living, money grubbing crazies on stage, reveling in the laughs, the raunchy, crotch-grabbing humor and just letting loose.
This is not the show for you if you are looking for the meaning of life or seeking to learn something new. This is the kind of performance that is more akin to Honey Boo Boo moving to the Jersey Shore. It is a guilty pleasure of which I will admit I enjoyed.
