Our Panelists
Sylvie Wang (she/hers) is a writer/comedian/performer from Queens who is now based in Los Angeles. She is a contributing writer for such publications as Reductress and The New Yorker. She studied and improvised at UCB NY, and has performed on Asian AF and ASSSCAT. She is a recent recipient of the Groundlings SNL Diversity Scholarship, and was a finalist for the Yes And Laughter Lab Fellowship. She currently teaches improv at UCB in LA. Ultimately she is just a silly gal who likes to get big money laughs.
Ra’Shawn Durell is an actor, writer and director born in Athens, Greece. Moving to LA, he began a shift to play & screenwriting, with a focus on queer & POC-led genre stories in the horror space. After writing and producing The Mourning Show, and filming a supporting turn in The Uniform, an upcoming horror feature, Ra’Shawn wrote and directed The Server Slasher Massacre for the 2025 Fringe Festival. The horror-comedy about a waitstaff being stalked by a masked killer debuted to great word of mouth and won the Zephyr’s Zest Award at the 2025 ceremony.With a stellar support system, Ra’Shawn hopes to continue to tell stories that highlight underwritten individuals, using a genre that has inspired him to create.
Angelique Fustukjian (she/her) is a Los Angeles-based artist and co-founder of Sunny Gingham. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, she earned her degree in Theatre and Film at the University of Arizona in 2016 and has been working in LA since 2017. Most recently, Angelique starred as Laura Keene in the world premiere of the full-length version of Our American Tragedy in Phoenix, which was co-produced by Banzerini House. Originally a proof-of-concept, the show had its debut at the 2024 Hollywood Fringe and was nominated for Best Drama at the festival. She is also a 3-year acting veteran of 14/48 Hollywood. Other theatre credits include Harper in Angels in America: Parts 1 & 2 (2024), Susan in The King & I, and Paul (2023), and Cookie in Rumors (2019), among others. In addition, she is a series regular on the scripted podcast, Cryptid Cape. Besides creating, Angelique is proud to serve on Hollywood Fringe’s Access Advisory Board. Future projects include touring Our American Tragedy around the country as well as writing and starring in a brand new play for HFF ‘27. When not performing/producing/editing/writing/crying/hustling/livelaughloving, Angelique can be found eating an Oreo and listening to blink-182.
Yousaf Sajid is a Los Angeles–based writer, performer, and storyteller. His solo show Natural Born Citizen explores identity, belonging, and growing up as a first-generation Muslim American in post-9/11 America. Yousaf brings experience from both the nonprofit and business sectors, having worked with a community nonprofit in Central Virginia and currently serving as a product marketing leader in the technology industry. He is passionate about expanding access to the arts and creating pathways for more inclusive storytelling. Connect with him at @heyitsyousaf.
