My overall impression
Finally, a theatre company that doesn’t pretend to be something they’re not. 3 of a Kind flawless executes three very awkward plays about sex, death, and cheeseburgers! The direction, the minimal set design, the acting, the writing, EVERYTHING is spot on in this trio of comedies and I particularly enjoyed the performances by Jerry Chappell, Susan Marlowe, and Randy Marquis – though everyone is excellent! If you need a quick, light hearted escape from Fringe “… Awkward Pauses” is something I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
