In his debut solo show, Pieces In A Pile, Los Angeles native Aryeh-Or weaves a riveting tale of his tumultuous early life. Black. Jewish. The son of LGBTQ parents in the 80’s. From highly gifted magnet schools to lockdown mental hospitals. Pieces In A Pile is the story of one boys search for identity and belonging through a set of circumstances that only Hollywood could dream up, but it’s all true.
Pieces In A Pile is written as a two act show but for the purposes of HFF, Aryeh-Or will be presenting the first act as a stand alone performance. The narrative is driven and deliverd through a deft blending of prose, poetry and live music; a showcase of Aryeh-Or’s many talents to compliment the many shades of emotion in his story.
