It was a dark night of the soul for two tragic lovers. The stage melted away and I was engulfed in this gut wrenching scene that left me stunned and wanting more at the end. A third of the way through and I remember thinking, wow, I get to be here to watch something so unique. It was more than I could have ever expected. I saw the play’s posters that said “raw”, “honest”, and “devastating,” but it’s something I couldn’t have prepared for in the best way. The actors didn’t miss a single beat. Their chemistry of playing dysfunction was masterful. For their first show of the festival, it was flawless! If I could describe this production in three words, it would be intimate, twisted, and vulnerable.... full review

The play was powerful and emotionally gripping, and seeing my friend Deborah, as both the lead actress and the producer made it even more impactful. I could see how much care and passion went into every detail, from the direction to the pacing. It left me thinking long after it ended—and that, to me, is the mark of something truly special.... full review

Face Divided is a tight, suspenseful piece that keeps your eyes glued for what may happen next. Each of the three performers is outstanding in carrying the show at various intervals, and working together as an ensemble, their tension crackles. At the heart of the story is a horrific act of violence, which, in the hands of this cast, feels surprisingly human. The actors pull off the feat of making something so tense be delightful to watch. A “must see” show.... full review
