Deborah & Nathan were locked in for the 40 minute running time of this heavy drama. Balancing between tender moments with those filled with resentment and regret. Director, Steven Fisher intelligently stages a heavy dialogue piece well to keep the actors up and moving to build up the tension. Ava Rose delivers honesty in her scenes.
What I didn't like
There appeared to be a running track underscoring the scene which, at times, overpowered the dialogue on stage. Could benefit from more projecting in a larger venue such as this one.
My overall impression
Strong, compelling performances from the lead actors. Short running time. Good staging and set design. An 80’s set drama of love lost and what might have beens.
