My overall impression
I absolutely ADORED this show. Jeffrey Wylie has created a wonderfully engaging and endearing character in Lyla, and her show is both entertaining and weighted with a surprisingly profound emotional punch. A wonderful commentary on relationships of all kinds for all ages, this show also tugged at my heartstrings with its compassionate treatment of the sensitive and relevant topics of adult bullying and gay teen suicide. I’m so glad to have seen this show this year, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next to the lovely Lyla KaRug.
