MANIC is a trip into Roxy’s world, featuring glamorous burlesque, daddy issues, and a lifelong obsession with fame. Roxy has brought the voices in her mind to life with carefully cultivated comedic personas and they are here to entertain.
Each character is very distinct, with enormous thought clearly put into their development.
I loved the multimedia aspect—fitting, given Roxy’s music video directing experience. The staging was minimal but still had flair.

This production was an inspiring, mixed media performance integrating live theatre with film, all done by one talented girl, ROXY! She had original music, dance, monologues, jokes, comedy, and raw honest truth all throughout the production. If you’re a creative in LA, or anyone chasing a dream, this show will touch and inspire you. She really put together stunning costumes and high production value into this show. Manic was a beautiful inside look at the inner life of a person with big hopes and dreams!
