What I liked
I loved that Vico shared some of their upbringing with their parents and their queer identity being present from the time they were little. Even though their mom struggled, I love that they reconnected through the transition of the grandmother.
What I didn't like
I’d love to see the Spanish parts have subtitles on the screen behind you. The show was wonderful but I wish I could’ve understood the Spanish language parts. I feel like I missed out on some of the jokes. I’d love to see Dad and Mom more clearly defined when showing you were a child- I don’t know how though.
My overall impression
The show was creative, sweet and authentic. Vico is a wonderful and and engaging story teller.
