What I liked

The cast overall was superb, capturing the foolishness of youth in a way that made me see myself in them. The Dead Cat, functioning as something like a brutal spiritual guide, was a highlight. Also, the way one could see a glimpse into what sort of adults these people might grow up to be, and in refreshing ways such as a hint of sexuality without once straying into sleaze. Essentially the play has three parts, and the first part sets up the important realizations in two and three with great skill.

What I didn't like

As I told people about this, I found title was VERY off-putting, and to be honest the shock value of it seems to counter its meaning. I also found the emotional transition of the third part did not quite thread all the needles it needed.

My overall impression

A startlingly weird, funny, and piercing mini-DIVINE COMEDY with child characters played by adults, including a glimpse of what might as well be Inferno.
