Honestly, all of it, great performances throughout, but Devin Davis-Lorton deserves special mention in a surprise role half way through the play. It’s an unhinged and haunting performance that really stood out.
What I didn't like
Nothing!
My overall impression
Mandy Rubeli has written an incredible coming-of-age story that surprised me every minute. This is Stand By Me with a modern flair. Incredibly funny to start, then it settles in to a dark, dramatic and serious look at life when you’re young with all its various challenges. The play doesn’t pull punches and the actors vividly bring her words brilliantly to life. This is a Top 3 Fringe 2025 show for me!
