While the cast are extremely talented and fun to watch, they’re working off of some killer material that dances on a knife’s edge of tones, never becoming silly in a way that loses all grounding, never becoming dour in a way that becomes a depressing slog.
There are so many little lines and character moments that stand out (Reddit, sibling rivalry, cool/uncool and so on), and I think that’s where Mandy truly shines as a writer: in those tiny moments that another writer would easily brush past or trivialize, instead managing to condense a world of meaning into such brief spaces you simply have no choice but to take it all in.

My overall impression
It’s an incredibly choreographed chaos, this show. A cast of extreme, but well-drawn, personalities bombards you with high energy, one-liners, gags, bickering, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it bits, and heart. You may think you know where this play is going, but you really don’t, I assure you.
