It's a tour de force from the very talented Andrew Byron who wrote and performed this funny and moving play. It's marvelously entertaining as he switches masterfully between different characters and accents always with great subtlety and endearing humour. If you're lucky enough to get a chance to see it then seize it...... you won't regret it!...

It’s rare these days to see a show that presents a different side of Russians—not the usual stereotypes of criminals or mafia members, but something more human and nuanced. As a Russian myself, I’m especially grateful for that.
Although Andrew is British, his command of the Russian language is remarkable, and he delivers a true masterclass in British dialects. I absolutely loved the show. Go check it out—you won’t regret it!...

The Good Russian is an endearing story of a man with a heart of gold navigating his dreams--and their practical possibilities--in the confusing but quaint world of the English countryside. Andrew Byron demonstrates a feat of dialect, stamina, and physicality as he represents all players in this bustling cast of characters. A delightful and heart-warming story that is sure to entertain everyone....

This was a captuvating, Reflective story about a man's journey traveling to a new country undocumented to find a better life. A Comical and light hearted story while staying grounded in the tough realities people escaping an oppressive homeland face when entering a foreign society that doesn't always immediately accept them. Entertaining and well composed!...
