Nyx is reminiscent of Jinx and Harley Quinn which is right up my alley! It was extremely aesthetically pleasing and well choreographed! If you are game for a dark tale, then this is a perfect, quick little show for you!...

NYX is a gritty, intense, character study that dives deep into the psyche of the main character.
Charlotte Kaseta delivers a mesmerizing performance that is both heartbreaking and disturbing. Steph Martinez profoundly plays an incredibly complicated role that is beautiful and equally damaged at the same time. Ross Gosla gives a stand out performance with a terrifying presence, adding to the plays heavy, unsettling tone.
And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the wonderful direction of Frankie Kevech. Utilizing every square inch of the stage, Kevech is a master class in staging physical combat. I very much appreciate the seamless choreography that stitched together intimate moments with large bursts of action.
Nyx is a bold, arti...

Dark Comedy
A feat of creative storytelling, technical effects, and boundary pushing performances, the world premiere of NYX: The Girl Born to Chaos at Hollywood Fringe is a half hour experience you MUST SEE. The fourth-wall breaking, dark-comedy invites the audience into a newly constructed world from the dregs of a society we recognize; without ever slowing down the sequence of events we're witness to; and introduces us to a vigilante, some may even call a hero, who battles demons, internal and external, while ALWAYS keeping the audience entertained.
With stellar direction from Frankie Kevich (SUITS L.A., APEX LEGENDS), the cast performs technical feats all while giving the audience engaging, relatable, grounded performances, as much as humanly...

Absolutely loved this show! It's campy and thrilling. You can tell that the team really put their all into it, down to the detail of costumes, makeup, timing of different sound elements coming in––it was truly a spectacular show. Incredible performances from everyone and a wild story that explores dark, emotional realities, but finds ways to make it entertaining and lighthearted at times. A total joy to experience. Wish I could watch it again!!! ...

A very creative take on childhood trauma through a character that might seem familiar although you have never actually seen her before. You know very quickly that she is the product of very familiar and disturbed parents. She is shining a light on our children lost to the system and what they have to endure all while adding the humor that can only come from a colorful vigilante seeking vengeance on those who have hurt her and the ones she loved....
