Along with the performances, I like the set design. The graffiti and worn our surroundings wonderfully create an environment and atmosphere that implies the city they live in is a putrid place with social violence and rising class resentment.

My overall impression
NYX is a gritty, intense, character study that dives deep into the psyche of the main character.
Charlotte Kaseta delivers a mesmerizing performance that is both heartbreaking and disturbing. Steph Martinez profoundly plays an incredibly complicated role that is beautiful and equally damaged at the same time. Ross Gosla gives a stand out performance with a terrifying presence, adding to the plays heavy, unsettling tone.
And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the wonderful direction of Frankie Kevech. Utilizing every square inch of the stage, Kevech is a master class in staging physical combat. I very much appreciate the seamless choreography that stitched together intimate moments with large bursts of action.
Nyx is a bold, artistic take on the vigilante tale that lingers in your mind. A must-see for fans of psychological drama.
