It is jam packed with a great story as well humor and emotions. Nyx is lovable and strong while also portraying the effects of the trauma that haunts her. Her wild eyes and dark humor make it extremely entertaining. It is amazing what they did with 30 minutes. It leaves you with a feeling of “Wow” when you leave.
What I didn't like
It is hard to pick anything apart. The lead actress is powerful and portrays a damaged person who turns that trauma into her superpower. We all need a little of that!
My overall impression
A very creative take on childhood trauma through a character that might seem familiar although you have never actually seen her before. You know very quickly that she is the product of very familiar and disturbed parents. She is shining a light on our children lost to the system and what they have to endure all while adding the humor that can only come from a colorful vigilante seeking vengeance on those who have hurt her and the ones she loved.
