My overall impression
What an amalgamation of pure talent! I was so impressed with the level of professionality this show exhibited. From the brilliant sound design, to the set and costumes, to the acting — every level of this show was worth the wait! A powerhouse performer, Charlotte Kaseta, always had the audience in the palm of her hand. The intricate character work shown through like a diamond in the rough here in Los Angeles — a level of craft that you would assume had been grown in New York or the UK. Kaseta was poised, detailed, subtle and specific in her stand-out performance.
The supporting talent was just as impressive! Ross Gosla was a perfect villain with amazing command of the stage. Steph Martinez was an expert at bringing some real humanity to the story.
This was a wonderful ride into the land of crazy, and I can’t wait to see where this story takes off to.
