About the Project
Nyx grew up in the shadows of two infamous legacies—though she doesn’t know it. Raised by the system, forged by trauma, Nyx is a product of violence, survival, and fractured memories. When she returns to confront the man who twisted her childhood into a weapon, she’s not seeking justice—she’s seeking reckoning.
As her closest friend Ava tries to anchor her to reason, Nyx spirals deeper into chaos. But for her, chaos is clarity. Violence is healing. And vengeance is sacred.
Nyx is a raw, psychological descent into the mind of a girl who refuses to be saved. Unapologetically cathartic, darkly poetic, and laced with explosive heart, this is what it looks like when someone reclaims their power on their own terms.
You can’t scare her with the dark—she plays in it.
CONTENT ADVISORY:
This performance includes themes of psychological trauma, references to child abuse, and depictions of violence through stylized movement and sound. Brief sequences involve strobe lighting, as well as the use of small, repainted toy squirt guns as prop weapons. No weapon or threatening gesture is ever directed toward the audience. All intense action is focused solely on characters within the story, and the audience is positioned as an ally throughout. Trigger warnings are provided both verbally and through a recorded announcement before each performance.
