This show is a celebration of life! In all it's complexities, how we reconcile contradictions...those seemingly disparate, messy or contrary parts of our existence, how we choose to face challenges... to our perceptions, values and even our own mortality. It's about self-acceptance and love, both for our own selves and and for others....

A MASTERCLASS in storytelling, Janora McDuffie's stage presence is mesmerizing and her story is a brilliantly woven collection of pivotal scenes from her life that blur the lines between black and white, hetero and homo, family and chosen family, healthy and in-need-of-healing and in the end, what is there but LOVE? This was a truly moving show by the unstoppable JANORA!...

What a glorious ride this tour de force was for Janora McDuffie - funny, moving, theatrical but real deal authentic, sexy, sassy, brave - all the things. Grateful to see this beautiful work which invites all of us to examine whether or not anything is more powerful than love. This answer is no, nothing is, and the show is a resounding yes. I urge you to check it out if you can still get a ticket. ...

Excellent performance - well written, staged, and performed. I may be biased because I'm friends with Janora, but her story has so much of what the world needs right now: it dances perilously along so many lines that separate us yet manages to embrace complexity and transcend our identity groups with a very messy but very human Love....

Janora McDuffie's powerhouse performance is the star of this production. Janora's script touches on so many important topics; race relations, Black Lives Matter, sexuality, family struggles, etc. Yet, in the hands of such a dynamic storyteller, the audience was with her at every turn. Earth, Wind And Car Fire is one of the best shows I have seen at this year's Fringe. ...
