Ashley Ford

Ashley Ford is a Los Angeles-based actor and producer. Her solo show The Ecstasy of Victoria Woodhull was originally developed and premiered at the Hollywood Fringe Festival (2018 & 2022) before premiering Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters and touring to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Notable credits include Izzy in Rabbit Hole (Davenport Theatre, NYC), Fraulein Kost in Cabaret (Playhouse on Park, CT), and the female lead (Annabelle/Pamela/Margaret, u/s) in the National Tour of Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps. Ashley previously worked as a movement director and producer in Vancouver and New York, earning a Best Choreography award for Lost in Place at the Planet Connections Festival with Secondhand Theater Co. She studied Acting at Douglas College in Vancouver, BC Canada before graduating from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting’s Professional Conservatory in NYC. Her work is deeply informed by physical theater and movement-based methodologies, including Grotowski, Viewpoints, Michael Chekhov technique as well as Improv and Clowning (Pochinko method).

Ashley is the founder and current director of Owl & Pussycat Theatre Company, and a proud member of SAG-AFTRA. She first discovered Fringe as a teenager in Canada—directing and performing in early festivals—and still proudly calls Fringe a creative home.
