I loved that the audience got really into it and interacted with the actors and I loved that the actors felt comfortable enough to include us, respond and react to us when it called for it. The show made you feel safe and comfortable to interact with. Had so much fun amidst the horrors and heartache of watching people get pulled from their communities and homes by masked men for no reason besides the color of their skin and their language. It felt like food for the soul, to be able to recharge and keep fighting injustice.
What I didn't like
Some of the actors might need more time to feel more confident singing to a theater audience at the top of the show because by the second half they seemed warmed up enough to go full voice.
My overall impression
A great show with heart, humor and excellent music!
