ABSOLUTE LEGENDS!

There isn't much that can get me to leave the house after 10 PM, but Absolute Legends was it! Endlessly entertaining, engaging, and dare I say educational!? It was a perfect combination of improvised and scripted storytelling with physical comedy to boot. And the showmanship? Unmatched. I might even see it again! ... full review

Such skilled clowning! Such delightful writing! So creative and weird and funny! Their timing, vibe, physicality, energy - I loved all of it! A masterclass in tomfoolery. Pure fun for 75 minutes with plenty of well-executed clown, mask, and puppetry tricks to keep you engaged from start to finish. The drift from script to improv is seamless which turns the whole show into a biographical-meta-parody of sorts that feels fresh even though the theatrical tricks are classic through and through. No spoilers here, just go if you want some excellent irreverent comedy in your fringe schedule.... full review

Absolute Legends is worth your time and all your money. This show will most definitely find itself in the ANALS of history. History, rollerskating, tap dancing, sock puppetry?!?!?! "Absolute Legends" is the clown show to see of the festival. Silly and unserious from top to bottom, this show simply never stops being entertaining. These two command and fill out the rather large Main Stage easily, and the audience was on their side from minute one. Plus, did I mention you will actually LEARN HISTORY in this show? I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard and learned that much simultaneously. Go see this show!... full review

I had no idea what to expect, and was surprised in the greatest possible way. It was like stepping into a dungeon of hilarity where the masters of ceremonies wheeled expertly from commedia dell’arte to Soviet history to Greek mythology, all the while keeping me in tears of laughter that were so ever-present, my abdominals hurt. Definitely the smartest, funniest, and probably the overall greatest Fringe show I’ve ever seen.... full review

Talk about two comedy legends in the making. Alan and Will taught the master class in keeping the audience laughing, cackling and even guffawing. Somehow through all the merriment I learned a few things. The writing was well layered. I am still marveling at all of the stunts and physical comedy two days later.
