ABSOLUTE LEGENDS!

"Absolute Legends" is the clown show to see of the festival. Silly and unserious from top to bottom, this show simply never stops being entertaining. These two command and fill out the rather large Main Stage easily, and the audience was on their side from minute one. Plus, did I mention you will actually LEARN HISTORY in this show? I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard and learned that much simultaneously. Go see this show!... full review

I had no idea what to expect, and was surprised in the greatest possible way. It was like stepping into a dungeon of hilarity where the masters of ceremonies wheeled expertly from commedia dell’arte to Soviet history to Greek mythology, all the while keeping me in tears of laughter that were so ever-present, my abdominals hurt. Talk about two comedy legends in the making. Alan and Will taught the master class in keeping the audience laughing, cackling and even guffawing. Somehow through all the merriment I learned a few things. The writing was well layered. I am still marveling at all of the stunts and physical comedy two days later. A freaking delight. Will and Alan are clowns dialed up to 11 (that’s out of 10) from the moment you enter to the moment you exit. Tonally stupid in the smartest way, and smart in the stupidest way. Fringe shows can be hit or miss, but if this one had hit any harder I’d have suffered a concussion.... full review
