What I liked
Ethan is such a gifted and engaging storyteller. To describe the show doesn’t do justice to what Ethan achieves. He literally talks for an hour with snippets of old photos and home movies sprinkled in. This is a show packed with substance and heart without unnecessary bells and whistles. Every Jewish person should see this. I’m not Jewish, but I love history and the celebration of culture and the family bonds that make us who we are as adults. This show is a celebration of heritage as well as self-individualization within a loving but complex family dynamic. Highly recommend.
