What I liked
I will say this until the cows come home, go on vacation and return again: we need more shows about men who faced themselves, changed and decide upon a life of giving back. This is what I didn’t just like but loved about this show. Ben is exceptionally personable in a role that could have been distant and off putting for a mostly liberal audience. This show will fill you with our left type of faith. Well done dude.
What I didn't like
Nary a thing. Ben is going places and gonna do some good out there.
My overall impression
Ben has done the work and it shows. A solid character exploration as an actor and a strong script exploring the upbringing of kid through man and the struggles faced. Self aware, surprising, funny, heart breaking and important.
This show, at the core, is something men specifically need to see. A well told, well acted and written piece that explores the need for growth.
