All the church choir paid off - Laural's voice knocks you out. I had a lot of fun in the "blue" and the layering of her life story over Ms. Tucker's was so enjoyable. I'm still jingling the bells. ... full review

Laural Meade is radiant, both as her extraordinary self and as the legendary Ms. Sophie Tucker. You will revel in her boisterous humor, poignant self reflection, immersive and inclusive storytelling, and her absolutely gorgeous vocals so beautifully enlivened and supported by Fred Cassidy on the piano. Do yourself a favor and come out to see this show - not only will you spend the evening with an extraordinary performer but, just maybe, you will learn a little something about yourself along the way.... full review

We were thoroughly entertained. Laurals voice takes you so many places. It's wonderful to watch a performer command the stage and that's what she does. She's talented and delightful and I had a great time. The piano player made me happy and he didn't miss a beat and neither did she! ... full review

Part cabaret, part history lesson, part group therapy. The performer masterfully sings and jokes her way though Sophie Tucker's bawdy material, while adding important context about the what was really going on with Sophie's life at the time- punctuated by unflinching truths her own life. She weaves the three threads- bits, biography, and personal revelation- to create a surprising tapestry on sex, showbiz, and loneliness. ... full review

Ms. Tucker Will See You Now gives us the songs and the humor of the one and only Sophie Tucker! I appreciate the expert knowledge of our Cabaret Artist Laural Meade! Laura is a fabulous and a brave solo artist who isn't afraid of her own truth, and we love her for it! She reveals her own life along with Sophie and I truly appreciated her authenticity and since of FUN! The Audience leaves lighter on their feet from this show, and that is a gift!... full review

Laural.Meade is a magnificent storyteller and a powerhouse in her own right. As she weaves in her own history of being raised a bible thumping Christian raised in Glendale alongside of the bawdy Jewish Sophie Tucker, you come to fall in love with BOTH of them. While I certainly wished Laural might have accessed all the sex Tucker apparently had, clearly she relishes (and tingles) discussing a life ripe with shenanigans!... full review
