My overall impression
I want to say a huge thank you for your performance of Pushkin’s Gavriiliada! It was unexpectedly lively, fresh, and incredibly precise in its delivery — you managed to capture both the ironic spirit of the poem and make it feel absolutely modern and theatrically engaging.
What impressed me deeply was how creatively you used the space: although the venue was small and technically limited, you succeeded in creating a fully immersive theatrical experience. Through lighting, music, movement, and atmosphere, the visuals kept shifting — the performance was never static or monotonous. It was dynamic, vivid, and visually rich from beginning to end.
A special highlight was the live music — such a powerful touch! The two musicians didn’t just accompany the show; they truly breathed with the action. It gave the performance rhythm and emotional depth.
And of course, your acting — the four of you brought distinct characters, energy, and precision to the stage. It was playful, sharp, and respectful of the original text. Very impactful work!
You proved that even without a big budget or elaborate set design, it’s absolutely possible to create real art — when there’s talent, taste, and a team that truly understands the material.
