(Think I covered this in my Overall Impression.) ;)
What I didn't like
I would have loved to see more moments of life on the job, as you do so beautifully in that one scene of being pulled in all different directions. :) And more interactions with patients (you gave us some, but I personally would have loved more).
My overall impression
I saw the description for this show in the Fringe book and was intrigued! I did not know Charley personally, but was fascinated by the subject matter. I think she did a great job in portraying her life as a nurse, both on the job, as well as her life outside the job. I appreciated the facts and behind-the-scenes moments, too — like how high burnout is among nurses and how the struggle is real to find a job, even as a nurse (which seems like a profession that would always need people). Her song parodies were clever, too, and I’m glad she’s finally on stage like she’s always wanted. :) Like someone else said, this show should be required viewing for everyone, those both in and out of the healthcare system. It was entertaining, yet educational — a great combo!
