What I liked
The different characters and performances were all excellent. Also, I loved the set design.
What I didn't like
I wanted to see more of the Comedian character. What’s there is really good, but I would have liked to see more of him throughout.
My overall impression
Talent show was a fantastic exploration of these characters’ lives and how they are entangled. It reminded me of some of Robert Altman’s films with his great ensemble casts. Talent Show strikes a difficult balance with how it shows us these people’s lives in various stages of turmoil. It does a great job of giving the audience a peek into their lives without spoon-feeding us answers to their problems.
