It's not every day that merch captures my feelings towards a show, but in the words of A Funeral at the Peanut Patch, I am definitely Nutz 4 Nutz! This show is a clever, original serio-comedy about siblings and their peanut farm. Add in the poignant issue about how humans are taking over animals' homes/lands and there you have it: a two-hander with a real message. A beautiful slice of life with incredible performances. It was my first time watching a Fringe show and I was pleasantly surprised by the immaculate presentation. The style of the play and the atmosphere was so well thought out. The lead actors, Spencer Wright and Emma Giallongo were able to bring out the essence of the whole story absolutely beautifully. Hats off to the director, Hannah Cairo, for bringing this piece of daily life to the audience in such a compelling and engaging manner. The script was crisp and funny, leaving the audience chuckling at every 10 seconds.
