I knew that a show from the mind of Spencer Wright was going to make me cry with laughter and challenge my perspective in a new way; but I was not prepared for the professionalism and polish the cast and crew brought to this performance! If you are local to LA or making a trip out for the Fringe Festival, A Funeral at the Peanut Patch is a must see!...

This show was thoughtful, creative, and hilarious. Both actors brought such a lively energy to their performances and I absolutely loved the interplay with the puppet Opossum “Gusth”. The writing was sharp and emotional, gifting the show some really memorable moments...

Absolutely stunning production. Knowing how little time there is to set-up/strike, getting everything up and running in such a short amount of time makes the show that much more impressive. The story felt universally relatable, but also held such a specific dynamic that really pulled the show together....

Add in the poignant issue about how humans are taking over animals' homes/lands and there you have it: a two-hander with a real message. As for the messenger, well, hands up (er, hats off) to Gus(th). ...

Quite an impressive piece of theatre. Every aspect of the show was well thought out and perfectly executed. I’ve seen my share of original one-act plays and this was by far the best, most comprehensively put together production....
