Veronica Rosas gives a magnetic, fucked up, hilarious, and soul crushing performance. Her desperation is matched by her frustration as she navigates the complex world of serial killers, the patriarchy, and making those damn cookies. It’s a spectacular showcase of her talents and one not to be missed.
What I didn't like
It would actually be interesting see a slightly longer version of this, bringing even more of the character to light.
My overall impression
A gut punch of a play, “Slay Me” walks the line of dark humor thanks to a fearless performance by Veronica Rosas. Both hilarious and heart-breaking, Rosas anchors her comedy with a vulnerable edge. All leading to one of the best endings you’ll see at Fringe.
