Get the fuck out of here — WOW. What a doofus, in the best theatrical way possible. Elodie Azoulay has created a character that’s part Ellen DeGeneres, part Cheri Oteri (Collette), and something entirely original. Honestly, I think that’s just Elodie. The laughs were fully earned, and the audience was right there with her — listening, laughing, leaning in. This show is smart and stupid in exactly the right proportions. One not to miss. Thoughtfully directed, brilliantly performed, with delightful props and scenery to match....

This was one of the best shows I’ve seen at fringe thus far. The concept, the set, the cohesiveness of aesthetic, elodie’s brilliant weaving of the light and the dark. I laughed so hard until I sobbed. You can see the hard work and the years of dedication to this project. Elodie’s heart was on their sleeve which gave us all permission to FEEL and feel deeply. I left inspired. A true work of genius. I had an acting teacher once who frequently repeated, “You do the homework until you can forget the homework.” I could not see a moment of homework as elodie laid it all bare for us. The work had been done and they were able to just flowwwwwww. ...

Ridiculous Joke
Elodie Azoulay’s gambit to their audience is that by show’s end we will have an array of distinct, albeit impractical, tools to help deal with the amorphous mess of our feelings. Elodie offers a by the numbers set of solutions, a tool belt, to deal with feelings. The hilarity of Elodie’s FEELINGS surges from the contradictions and application of their linear, and matter of fact proposals to dealing with feelings. Especially when faced with the actual complexity and even ineffable reality of feelings in real life scenarios, such as grief. A ridiculous and charming af show. ...

Vibrant, compelling, and soul touching, Feelings gets you all in your feels in all the right ways. Elodie Azoulay is captivating, and their warmness invites you into their world, and coincidentally, your world as well. Elodie flows through the hard topics of who we are, what makes us feel, and how we deal with the tough emotions, all the while sharing their own vulnerability and truth. It was fascinating. I was so happy to see this as an early morning show as well (I am not a morning person by any means), because this is the type of show that when you leave, you are left to think about different tactics or tools you can use in your "tool belt" to deal with life's tough moments, and ultimately, make them a little easier. Elodie, thank you for...

Whimsical, silly, occasionally jet-black-dark (figuratively and literally), and moving: this show is aptly named, because watching it provokes a wide range of those pesky emotions! It’s a beautiful show, a privilege to watch....
