Shit! That show had me on the edge of my seat. Loved the dysfunction but maybe that’s because I’m a therapist! Ha! It was sooo complex and loaded with life stuff. Yay! Say all the things writer. Deliver it well actors. Yes yes yes. Family Fries is lovely. The end is so damn special. ... full review

With an immeasurably dysfunctional family and a trickling downward spiral that shows no signs of stopping, Family Fries is one of those shows where the burn lingers with you long after the lights go out. With a grippingly twisted script written by Pam Eberhardt, each character had a purpose and a place, and each moment in time that the characters shared together as a family is a true testament to a well orchestrated family drama. As an audience member, you only want what's best for them, but this sadly sick family doesn't want to get better, and in fact, aid each other into their unfortunate demise. The only real positive is the epic record collection and the killer family fries. A stellar cast, as well as great direction. ... full review

Great acting from the start to finish. Loved opening up in the dark with mysterious phone call leading into the story. Main characters go deep and back story comes up clearly. Love the witty banter! ... full review

FAMILY FRIES is a tragicomic exploration of nuclear family trauma and how we relate to it, the characters defining themselves or rejecting themselves by their neglectful upbringing. Three adult children take wildly different approaches, yet all land back in the same hole they sprouted from—though now it may just be their grave. This is an intense, ambitious, and very, very funny play that covers a lot of ground—and the first Fringe show that made me shed tears (the hug). It requires a hefty trigger warning; there’s shock factor to be noted, and some suspension of disbelief in that vein. Brutal and hysterical, it’s not perfect but it doesn’t need to be. There are some emotionally athletic performances on that stage. Highly recommend.... full review
