About the Project

FEATURED IN COSMOPOLITAN MAGAZINE

A hilarious, heartfelt solo stand-up show about learning how to love yourself. Literally.

Join queer comedian & cringe theater kid Amanda Melhuish on their cumming out journey, where they attempt to master masturbation — and finally orgasm for the first time.

“Like Ali Wong, but queer!” — an astute audience member

After blowing up on TikTok for their “Wicks & Dicks” series, this social media darling is bringing their rare brand of sexed-up storytelling to the stage. Building upon the material in their Cosmopolitan article, this story explores all kinds of self-love. Don’t miss your chance to watch this fearless comedian take on all things vibrators, strap-ons, and orgasms in an hour of totally TMI comedy.

Amanda Melhuish is a comedian and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. They’ve performed improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy for over 10 years in NYC and LA. Their work has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Reductress, Daily Women in Comedy, Weekly Humorist, and more. Their performing credits include Dragged with Thorgy Thor, Boogiemanja, Magnet Sketch Teams, New York Musical Theatre Festival, Knockouts Women’s Festival, lots of random commercials, and the queer short film “The Split.” They currently cohost Facebook Marketplace Live!: A Gameshow at Caveat. They also created When Hailey Met Sally: A Queer Rewrite of a Straight Romcom. You may recognize them from Reductress stock photos.
