The family wrench, the sheep show, the dice, the ‘stand up’, the juxtaposition between bureaucracy and life altering heartbreak and loss, the subcultures, we were all family.
What I didn't like
Nada
My overall impression
Meat is inimitable. Beyond inventive and imaginative, Sugar Mud is completely transportive and transformative. Meat is a virtuoso when it comes to specificity, in the world were invited to and in the characters we meet, all inside the tornada. You will never see another show like this. They take beautiful care of the audience, and the games they play with us are played with so much heart and hilarity. This is easily one of the best shows Ive seen in my dang life. Meat was not just a granny, a Mormon gossip, I was a grand kid, I was a Mormon gossip. I was so brought into this transcendent world and did not want to leave. The stage pictures, set, and costuming were in a riveting conversation with each other. Laughing every second, this lil’rally throbbed with brilliance.
