Such a complete vision from tip to tail. Every moment of the show felt both perfectly honed from much practice and also live in the moment. By the time it was over everyone in that room was my cousin, and I dang loved them, all thanks to Meat's gentle shepherding and world building....

Sugar Mud absolutely blew me away. This is clown, character and proessing family and personal trauma at one of it shighest levels. Everything from the set (wow) to the costumes to the locked in performance. Each character had such well defined points of view, showing us a peak behind the curtain into Meat's life. The rarest of rarities. There are shows where you are aware the whole time you're watching a show and there are shows where you are utterly moved away from traditional time and space. I got lost within this show's magic - its elegant movement, its crunchy weird comedy, its ethereal exploration of familial ick and heart - this is a special show....
