What I liked

I loved the cinematic feel of the show. I loved the acting performances, and I must say that I watched the actors more than I watched the subtitles. When the acting is good and when intentions are clear, words become un-important. I felt these actresses hearts.

The music; the simple yet dynamic staging; the chemistry between the sisters. I loved the message of holding onto one’s beliefs as an act of resistance. How there are many forms of strength. How freedom begins once you stop allowing your mind to be in bondage.

The show was life affirming and hopeful.

What I didn't like

Extend the story! I think there’s more to tell and definitely a lot more to say!

My overall impression

An urgent warning of how history always repeats. Conquering nations occupying places they deem as less. The past talking to the present, hoping for a better future. The artists are responding and I feel a little better about the world.
